JOIN THE BOARD
Lead the Way
The volunteer Board of Directors seeks to be a diverse group reflective of the community we support. We actively seek applicants from sexual and gender minorities; people of color; seniors and young adults; and people with disabilities who all bring a range of skills, experience, and community representation to this leadership. Board members must be committed to social justice and be able to bring an intersectional lens to the LGBTQ community at the Pride Center.
BOARD MEMBER EXPECTIONS
All MoCo Pride Center Board of Director are Expected to:

Support the Mission Statement and values of MoCo Pride Center

Work as a part of a cohesive team with common goals

Share skills and expertise

Dedicate time to MoCo Pride Center board meeting

Respect and support the majority decisions of the Board

Volunteer and assist in MoCo Pride Center engagement programs and activities, include fundraising efforts

Participate actively in Board meetings, actions, fundraisers and public events

Represent all those whom this organization serves and not a particular geographic area or interest group

Remain aware of the activities that are planned and make yourself available to participate

Declare conflicts of interest as it pertains to your position on the Board and abstain from voting when appropriate

Help to ensure that the MoCo Pride Center image is well-maintained, financially secure, growing and always operating in the best interest of the community we serve
